Our 350 year old Oberhofalm is rustic in appearance and original in being as well as in the choice of food. Due to the warm charisma of the hut and its surroundings, it is particularly easy to relax and consciously enjoy the “Almschmankerl” (alp delicacies). The Alpine area, a brilliant landscape, enchants every visitor with the beauty of the mountains, the floral splendour of the meadows, the clear water and the varied wildlife. Impressed by the deeply snow-covered mountains you have the possibility to experience a winter’s day as in ancient times.

Our unique alpine hut is located 6 km from Filzmoos, at the foot of the impressive Bischofsmütze and in the picturesque valley of the “Hofalm area”.
The Oberhofalm recreation area is easy to reach both in winter and summer. A variety of activities – such as horse-drawn sleigh rides or a hike, make for an exceptional day. The Maria am Steineggl Chapel and our guesthouse offer an unforgettable setting for your corporate event and other festivities.
