The Oberhofalm is also an insider tip for family celebrations, Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve parties, company celebrations, anniversaries of all kinds and club celebrations.

The Tyrolean artist Elsbeth Baumann-Melmer will be showcasing her work in our venue in September 2025 as part of the MOUNTAIN-ART project 25.
Her expressive pieces perfectly reflect the project’s vision of making art come alive amidst an alpine backdrop. We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and immerse yourself in Elsbeth Baumann-Melmer’s artistic world.

The most famous event in the Hofalmen is the Christmas idyll. Every year our guests experience an unforgettable mountain Advent with an original Christmas atmosphere. A circular trail, delicately illuminated with torches, leads over snow-covered alpine pastures from the Oberhofalm and Unterhofalm to the Almsee.
In our untouched winter mountain landscape you can look forward to:
- a nativity scene where life-size Mary and Joseph watch over the little Jesus child
- brass musicians who play contemplative Christmas carols
- the splendid Christmas paper cut
- of course mulled wine, punch and children’s tea
- traditional “Schiachperchten”
- and many other surprises
